Infertility (Sterility)
Male infertility is a common condition encountered during the process of having children and can often be treated with proper evaluation. The goal is to increase the chances of natural conception when possible and to support assisted reproductive techniques when necessary.
Facing fertility challenges can feel isolating, but male infertility is a common, well-studied condition — and in a large share of cases, a clear cause can be found and addressed. You are taking the right first step just by looking into it.
Signs to Recognize
- Difficulty achieving pregnancy with a partner after a year of trying
- Known history of varicocele or previous groin/testicular surgery
- Hormonal symptoms such as low energy or reduced libido
- A previous semen analysis showing low or absent sperm count
When to Reach Out
If conception hasn't happened within a year of trying — or sooner if you already know of a risk factor — a straightforward evaluation can clarify what's happening and open up real options, from targeted treatment to assisted reproduction.
Microsurgical Varicocelectomy
Varicocele can negatively affect sperm quality.
Micro-TESE
A microsurgical procedure performed to search for sperm in testicular tissue in patients with no sperm in the semen. The retrieved sperm can be used in in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment.
Diagnosis and Treatment of Azoospermia
Azoospermia is the condition of having no sperm in the semen. It is evaluated through hormonal, genetic, and imaging tests. In suitable patients, there is a chance of achieving pregnancy through micro-TESE and assisted reproductive techniques.
